Job Description

Position: QA Tester Financial Regulatory Reporting & Compliance (Banking)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for financial and regulatory reporting applications.
Validate reports and ensure adherence to compliance standards such as Basel III, MiFID, FATCA, etc.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects to closure using standard tools.
Support UAT and ensure high-quality delivery within project timelines.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks and reporting standards in the banking sector.
Experience in manual and automation testing.
Proficiency with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, or similar).
Understanding of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting.
Knowledge of ETL testing and data warehouse environments.
ISTQB or similar QA certification
