QA Tester and Developer

We are seeking a proactive QA Tester with development background to become a valuable member of our product team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our application on multiple platforms by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, resolving issues, and delivering efficient, functional code as necessary. You possess the skill to identify areas of weakness, as well as the ability to rectify them effectively. Your key responsibilities will include conducting in-depth testing of all features and components in both staging and live environments, spotting and documenting bugs, usability concerns, and performance drawbacks, and collaborating closely with the product and development units to address the identified issues. Additionally, you will be required to perform regression testing post bug resolution, confirm UI/UX adherence to approved designs, ensure cross-device compatibility, evaluate accessibility and performance metrics, maintain meticulous test cases and reports, suggest areas for product enhancement, simulate user interactions (with a focus on senior users), and undertake other tasks related to product quality, stability, and testing. To qualify for this role, you should possess 2-3 years of experience in QA or software testing, have a good understanding of mobile app ecosystems (iOS and/or Android), be familiar with automated testing frameworks such as Appium, Cypress, or Selenium, demonstrate strong debugging abilities, have knowledge of APIs, logs, and crash reports, exhibit basic coding skills in languages like JavaScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift, or Java, understand Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies, and possess exceptional communication and documentation capabilities.
