As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and services. You will design and execute test cases, report defects, collaborate with developers, and contribute to continuous improvement in the QA process. This role is ideal for someone with 1.52 years of experience who wants to grow into advanced testing and automation.
Review and understand business requirements, system specifications, and technical documentation.
Design, document, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, record, and track defects through defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Support automation initiatives and contribute to framework enhancements (if applicable).
Prepare clear and concise test reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
1.5 to 2 years of experience in software testing (manual testing is mandatory).
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
Experience in writing and executing test cases and maintaining test documentation.
Hands-on knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA / Bugzilla.
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium / TestNG / JUnit / Playwright) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or a related discipline.
