QA Technician

As a Fit Technician, your role involves conducting fit sessions with live models or dress forms to evaluate the overall fit of garments. You will be responsible for evaluating various types of samples such as Development, Fit, Preproduction, Size set & Buyer sample, while conducting a feasibility study of the product and risk analysis. Your strong understanding of garment construction and pattern making will be essential in this role. Working closely with designers, pattern makers, and production teams, you will address fit issues and implement necessary changes to ensure that pattern modifications align with design and fit specifications. Effective communication with vendors and factories is crucial to ensure that fit and quality standards are clearly understood and met. You will also be responsible for sealing pre-production samples and handing over complete files to vendors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform special assignments and case studies to drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity. Quality control checks will be part of your responsibilities to verify that all fit-related adjustments have been accurately applied in the production process. Additionally, you will participate in wear testing and product trials to assess the durability and functionality of garments in real-life conditions. Providing technical support to Vendor merchants, Design team, and factories will be an integral part of your role as a Fit Technician. You will be accountable for resolving all technical issues related to garments and ensuring that quality standards are maintained. Your role as a Fit Technician requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to travel to vendor sites for fit evaluations and quality checks is also expected in this position.,
