Senior QA Manual Tester as Team Leader
Position Overview: As a Senior QA Manual Tester and Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA manual testers, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise in manual testing, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the testing process. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: • • • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of QA manual testers. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the progress of testing activities. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the team. Test Planning and Strategy: • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand project requirements and develop test strategies. • • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications. Define testing scope and timelines to ensure on-time delivery. Manual Testing: • • • Conduct manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and other software products. Execute test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues. Verify bug fixes and ensure the overall quality of the product. Test Documentation: • • • Document test procedures, test results, and defects discovered during testing. Generate detailed reports on test progress, coverage, and test completion status. Maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference.

Test Automation:
• • • Collaborate with the automation team to identify test cases suitable for automation. Support the development of automated test scripts and integrate them into the testing process. Monitor and maintain the automated test suite for reliability and relevance. Continuous Improvement: • • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in retrospectives and post-mortem discussions to learn from past projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to address testing- related concerns. Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization. Requirements: • • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in manual testing, including test case creation and execution. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. • • • • • • Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role. Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
