Location: Coimbatore Company Website: www.timbertruss.com.au Project Website: https://www.bowens.com.au/ We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Software Tester (Manual/Automation) to join our growing team. This role involves validating software quality through both manual and automated testing processes, ensuring features meet business requirements and function reliably across platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong testing fundamentals, hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, and thrive in a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess the completeness and clarity of requirements from a testability perspective. Define and plan test conditions to be validated by: The engineering team through unit testing. The QA team during sprint, integration, and acceptance testing. Create a test scenario matrix covering positive (happy path), negative (unhappy path), and alternate user flows. Translate test scenarios into manual test cases and automation test scripts. Review unit tests prepared by developers to verify entry criteria for QA testing. Execute test cases in various environments as per the test schedule. Log, triage, and retest defects ensuring timely resolutions. Build a strong understanding of internal systems, applications, and Bowens business processes. Set up test data and prepare environments for functional and acceptance testing. Work closely with developers to raise and reproduce defects. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with final validation and sign-off. Perform cross-platform and cross-browser testing to ensure a consistent user experience. Define test strategies for migration and integration projects, identifying gaps and edge cases. Conduct smoke and regression testing after new builds are deployed. Collaborate effectively in an Agile development environment with a solid understanding of the SDLC. Serve as the first point of contact for replicating production issues in lower environments. Conduct regular sanity tests to verify application stability. Uphold knowledge and competency across all company systems while aligning with the broader business strategy. Comply with Bowens' Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions and communications. Must-Have Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester, Quality Assurance Analyst, or Software QA Test Engineer. Strong understanding of manual and automation testing methodologies and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with database structures and relationships. Experience customizing and applying test execution frameworks. Solid background in Agile methodologies and tools. Proficient in tools like JIRA and Confluence. Experience with Crystal Reports or similar tools for data analysis and extraction. Nice to Have: Basic knowledge of programming languages. Ability to write unit tests within development environments. Experience working with React Native and PHP applications. Hands-on experience with Cypress for automated testing and maintaining automation scripts. Familiarity with SQL queries for data validation. API testing and automation experience using Postman or similar tools.
