PAUT/TOFD Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT and TOFD inspections on structural welds, piping welds, and critical joints.
• Set up equipment, calibrate probes, and prepare scanning plans as per approved procedures.
• Interpret scan data and prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports.
• Follow project ITPs, WPS/PQR requirements, and NDT procedures strictly.
• Coordinate with production, QC, and client inspectors for weld clearances and inspection approvals.
• Identify defects, highlight potential welding issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment, consumables, and ensure proper documentation and traceability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• NDT Level II or III in

  PAUT & TOFD

  (ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712).
• 4–10 years experience in

  offshore oil & gas fabrication yard NDT inspections

  .
• Strong experience in

  modular structures, topsides, jackets, bridges, flare booms, or heavy offshore fabrications

  .
• Ability to interpret drawings, weld maps, and NDT plans.
• Good knowledge of acceptance criteria as per ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO standards.
