Job Summary:

Manager QA and Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers across automation and manual testing.
• Design and implement robust automation frameworks using

  Selenium

  for web applications.
• Drive comprehensive

  Web API testing

  strategies using tools like

  Postman

  or

  RestAssured

  .
• Oversee

  mobile application testing

  (Android & iOS) using tools like

  Appium

  or equivalent.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end test scripts across web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage and quality across all releases.
• Ensure test plans and automation scripts are optimized for CI/CD pipelines.
• Track and report on QA metrics and continuously improve quality assurance practices.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure test case traceability and documentation.
• Evaluate and integrate new QA tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  and test automation for web-based applications.
• Proven expertise in

  Web API testing

  using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with

  mobile test automation tools

  such as Appium.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing or device.
