Job Description

Job Purpose Head the testing function across API, Mobile and Web App keeping Day-one automation vision. Role & responsibilities Responsible for test strategy and test approach for the mobile and web apps Oversee and guide Test planning and test execution activities across all delivery tracks Drive smart automation Manage an overall team of 20+ and vendor efforts to manage the overall testing. 18-20 years overall testing experience with a minimum 5 years experience with web and mobile testing specifically in Android, iOS. Extensive experience of 4-5 years or higher in Banking and Financial services sector Deep understanding of software testing methods & paradigms and ability to draw up test strategies and test plans. Experience with managing Functional and Regression testing for large products over multiple releases. Experience with automation tools such as UI Path, SeeTest, TestComplete, Postman, Zephyr and TestRail. Experience with planning and executing one or more non-functional requirement tests specifically related to user experience, application recoverability, Security and performance, regulatory requirements. Experienced in driving work in a fast-paced agile environment . Good understanding of large and complex solutions architecture. A self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and drives standards, tooling, and continuous improvement within the test organization. Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise way to the team as well as Management Preferred candidate profile Educ: B. Tech/M Tech, BE/ME in Computer Science or any other stream. 15-20 years overall testing experience with a minimum 5 years experience with API, mobile and web apps testing.
