Role Overview: Deutsche Bank is actively renewing its digital channels and has started many strategic and challenging projects. Next to some major technological changes, Deutsche Bank has decided to step into the Agile software development methodology in order to improve its agility and reduce time to market without sacrificing quality. As a Quality and Assurance Testing Engineer, you will closely work together with business and operation units, bringing test, test management, and test automation skills to enforce the development team within a Squad. You will extensively make use and apply test automation concepts and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding existing processes and the underlying system landscape - Analyzing requirements, maintaining test cases, and prioritizing backlog - Creating and executing test cases, validating outcomes, and documenting results for different test environments - Participating in estimation/planning of User Stories - Developing test solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements - Contributing to project discussions in requirement analysis, testing, environment setups, or deployment activities - Submitting, monitoring, and retesting defects - Documenting test strategy, plan, risk assessments, and results - Verifying entry/exit criteria for all SIT, UAT phases - Offering demo sessions to prove acceptance criteria are met when necessary - Identifying gaps in software deliverables through effective testing and working closely with development teams to fix defects - Driving quality indicators and promoting non-functional testing integration into continuous integration cycles - Demonstrating proficiency in working with global and local teams, managing vendors and/or 3rd parties in different time zones - Problem-solving to manage unexpected events Qualifications Required: - At least 5+ years of experience in development in Quality Testing and Assurance (Functional & regression test) - Strong experience in requirements understanding for test case creation and test execution using HP ALM/JIRA - Experienced in creating TER documents - Good understanding of JCL/JOBs, Flat/VSAM files, DB2, SQLs, SPUFI, CICS, MQ, and working with UI to create data and validate results - Ability to understand XML and/or JSON-based microservice interface with Mainframe - Good understanding of Service Response using SOAP UI/Postman verification - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Prior experience in banking domain processes like Accounts, Booking, disposition processes - Proficiency in working with global teams and in a collaborative environment Additional Details (if present): Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including best-in-class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, flexible working arrangements, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, employee assistance program, comprehensive hospitalization insurance, accident and term life insurance, complementary health screening, training and development opportunities, coaching and support from experts in the team, a culture of continuous learning, and a positive and inclusive work environment.
