QA Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end\-to\-end QA for MDM, ETL, and integration projects.
  
• Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them on test design, best practices, and execution.
  
• Own QA strategy, test planning, estimation, risk identification, and release quality.
  
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business teams, and project managers to ensure alignment.
  MDM QA

  • Validate MDM match\/merge rules, trust\/survivorship, hierarchies, workflows, and golden record creation.
    
  • Review and approve MDM test cases, data sets, and validation framework.
    
  • Validate DQ rules, business workflows, and data governance processes.
    
  • Ensure consistency across landing, staging, base, XREF, and downstream consumption.
    ETL \/ Data Pipeline Testing

    • Lead end\-to\-end testing of ETL pipelines across cloud and on\-premise systems.
      
    • Review source\-to\-target mappings, transformations, SCD logic, data reconciliation, and data quality checks.
      
    • Validate IDMC CDI mappings, taskflows, ingestion patterns, and error\-handling.
      API Testing

      • Lead testing of REST\/SOAP APIs integrating with MDM and enterprise systems.
        
      • Validate API payloads, authentication, performance, negative test cases, and schema compliance.
        
      • Use tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI for validation.
        Quality Governance

        • Define QA standards, best practices, templates, and reusable test frameworks.
          
        • Ensure proper defect lifecycle management and root cause analysis.
          
        • Drive automation feasibility and suggest improvements to accelerate testing cycles.
          
        • Provide QA sign\-offs, leadership reports, and quality KPIs.
          Required Skills & Experience

          • 7 to 12 years of strong QA experience, with at least 4+ years in MDM QA (Informatica preferred).
            
          • Hands\-on experience with Informatica MDM (on\-prem or SaaS) .
            
          • Strong experience in ETL testing , SQL\-based validation , and data warehousing concepts.
            
          • Experience with IDMC (CDI\/DQ\/MDM SaaS) is strongly preferred.
            
          • Expertise in REST\/SOAP API testing .
            
          • Strong understanding of match\/merge, survivorship, trust rules, hierarchies, and DQ rules.
            
          • Experience in Agile\/Scrum, test management tools, and QA governance.
            
          • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
            Good\-to\-Have Skills

            • Experience with automation (API\/ETL\/Data pipeline).
              
            • Knowledge of Snowflake or cloud data warehouses.
              
            • Familiarity with Python\/Shell scripting for automation and data validation.
              
            • Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS\/Azure\/GCP).
