Job Responsibilities
- Plan and
execute thorough functional and regression test cases
for applications. - Validate application behavior against business requirements and technical specifications to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Develop, review, and
maintain UAT (User Acceptance Testing) checklists and documentation.
- Coordinate and
obtain release sign-offs
by working closely with various teams. - Participate in
deployment verification activities
, validating successful releases in testing and/or production environments. - Report, document, and track bugs and issues using standard
defect management tools such as JIRA
. - Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the QA domain.
Mandatory Skills:
- 4-8 years of professional and relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) processes.
- Experience in understanding business requirements to identify
test scope / test scenarios
. - Experience in developing and maintaining
test cases, UAT checklists and test documentation
. - Proven ability to
validate business processes through hands-on application testing and scenario validation.

experience on multiple tables/views - Proficient in
defect tracking and reporting, preferably with JIRA
or similar tools. - Experience participating in release cycles, coordinating sign-offs, and supporting deployment verification.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in
capital markets domain
testing. - Exposure to
automation frameworks
(eg, Selenium, TestNG). - Familiarity with CI/CD environments and testing pipelines.
