QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and services. You will work closely with the development team to implement effective quality assurance processes and procedures, conduct thorough testing, and identify and resolve any issues or bugs. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough quality control checks on software applications, websites, or products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements. - Review code contributions to ensure they meet quality standards, are error-free, and adhere to coding guidelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. - Evaluate design assets to ensure consistency, functionality, and adherence to design specifications. - Perform comprehensive functional testing of game features, mechanics, and systems. - Conduct regression testing on updated builds of games to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced. - Test game builds across multiple devices, platforms, and screen sizes. - Document and report identified issues, bugs, and defects using issue tracking tools. - Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and industry regulations throughout the QA process. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience in quality assurance/testing roles, preferably in software development or IT environments. - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with Figma, design file evaluation, and UI/UX testing. - Familiarity with gaming PC and mobile platforms, builds, and testing procedures. - Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products. - Passion for gaming and a commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences.
