QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) with 3+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of mobile apps (Android/iOS), web platforms, and APIs. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for mobile apps, web platforms, and backend APIs. - Create, maintain, and scale automated test suites using modern frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, etc. - Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible to ensure thorough coverage. - Apply an AI-first approach by utilizing AI/ML-based QA tools for regression, performance, and integration testing. - Benchmark the platform across performance, usability, and stability metrics against industry competition. - Collaborate with product, design, and development teams for early bug detection and prevention. - Maintain and enhance CI/CD test pipelines for automated deployments and testing. - Generate detailed and actionable bug reports and test documentation. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a balance of manual and automation testing. - Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, TestRail, BrowserStack, or similar. - Familiarity with API testing, RESTful services, and automation scripts. - Hands-on experience in mobile app testing (iOS/Android). - Exposure or familiarity with AI-based QA tools. - Ability to analyze competitor platforms and derive insights for QA benchmarking. - Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills. - Experience with QA practices in agile environments. - Domain experience in F&B, Retail, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
