QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at PAL InfoCom Technologies Pvt. Ltd., based in Mohali, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web-based applications through manual and automated testing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and project managers to deliver high-quality applications. You will be expected to perform manual testing, assist in automation when necessary, and track bugs through resolution. Additionally, you will conduct regression, integration, and system testing to ensure the overall performance of the applications. Writing clear bug reports and test documentation will be essential in this role, along with ensuring application compatibility across various browsers and platforms. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of experience as a QA/test engineer, with a strong understanding of manual testing concepts, tools, and techniques. Proficiency in bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Mantis, or Bugzilla is required, while knowledge of automation tools like Selenium would be a plus. A good grasp of SDLC and STLC, along with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, will be beneficial in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
