QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Role Overview: As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for performing software testing within the systems/agile/scrum team throughout the whole development cycle, ensuring built-in quality. You will work on the deliverables assigned as per the testing strategy, implement best practices and processes on functional testing activities, and test functional hypotheses submitted by the Product Owner. Additionally, you will participate in Team Level activities such as Daily stand up, Sprint planning, Retrospective, Demo, and Backlog Refinement. Key Responsibilities: - Perform software testing within the systems/agile/scrum team throughout the whole development cycle ensuring built-in quality - Work on the deliverables assigned as per the testing strategy - Implement best practices and processes on functional testing activities - Test functional hypotheses submitted by the Product Owner - Participate in Team Level activities such as Daily stand up, Sprint planning, Retrospective, Demo, and Backlog Refinement Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience in Manual and API testing - Strong Testing and Test Design skills including Scenario Identification, Test Case identification, and Defect identification with a focus on Test Coverage - Automation testing skills are an added advantage - Good in DB Testing and SQL - Review requirements (functional and non-functional) / stories / features for accuracy and testability - Agile development knowledge and JIRA experience is appreciated - Experience in Automation testing would be an added advantage,
