QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Emerson, your role involves testing Oracle, web-based/mobile applications used by employees and customers. You will be responsible for supporting end-users in using software applications efficiently to meet business objectives and addressing, documenting, and reporting application issues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Automation Testing experience: writing and reviewing test scripts, carrying out updates - Familiarity with Agile process, SAFe agile experience preferred - Requirement analysis and designing detailed test cases - Collaboration in a team environment to uphold high standards for functional and usability testing - Analyzing technical issues related to applications and applying problem-solving skills - Detailing customer issues, resolution steps, and capturing feedback - Developing and publishing Support Knowledgebase articles - Measuring and reporting test progress with respect to requirements **Qualifications Required:** - Prior technical support experience, especially with Microsoft technologies - Strong problem-solving, analysis, and testing skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Understanding of the software development cycle and testing of web-based applications - Proficiency in handling stress In addition to the above, you are a proficient professional who is committed to self-improvement, achieving results, and demonstrating excellence in your endeavors.
