Introduction:

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Analyst to join our team at Ek Software Pvt. Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual and automated API testing, as well as creating test data. You will play a key part in validating API functionality, ensuring database accuracy, and collaborating closely with the development team to deliver high-quality releases.

Objectives of this role:

• Collaborate with the developers and project managers to understand the testing requirements and ensure the products meet the highest quality standards.
• Develop and document detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on the project requirements and use cases.
• Conduct manual and API automation testing to ensure our products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Your tasks:

• Create, maintain, and manage test data sets for various testing scenarios, ensuring Test coverage.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to verify endpoints, response formats, status codes, and error handling.
• Write and execute SQL queries to confirm API-driven data updates, inserts, and deletions are accurate.
• Work closely with developers to clarify API requirements, report defects, and retest fixes.
• Create and update test cases, test data documentation, and API automation scripts.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in QA testing, with strong exposure to API testing (manual and automation).
• Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman or similar).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL for database verification.
• Experience in validating data across multiple database systems.
• Basic programming skills for automation scripting and exposure to CI/CD tools
• Ability to develop and maintain automated API test scripts.
• Familiarity with the healthcare domain (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
