Job Description

You will be a valuable member of our quality assurance team as a skilled QA Automation Engineer proficient in Java and Rest Assured. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our APIs and web applications. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Rest Assured for API testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. It will be your responsibility to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing. Furthermore, you will analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. You will also be expected to maintain and enhance existing test frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Java and Rest Assured. You should be familiar with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit, as well as experience with version control systems like Git. An understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Postman, knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and an understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.,
