Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for working in Core-Banking Modules, including System, System Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing with interaction with Business. Experience in Legacy Systems such as Tandem/Mainframes will be advantageous. As a QA Engineer with Automation and Core Banking Domain Expertise, you will need to have excellent Testing Skills covering all levels and types of testing. Automation exposure and hands-on experience in creating/working in Automation Framework for legacy core banking applications is a must. Additionally, hands-on experience in legacy Tandem Platform and exposure to the latest technologies including JAVA, RDBMS Oracle-SQL-PL/SQL, and tools like IntelliJ, SQL Developer, Jenkins, Maven, etc., is required. You should have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the software development lifecycle for targeted Software Components, in all forms of testing, in accordance with the functional/technical solution design and product backlog. - Follow Agile (Scrum) development practices, maintain code quality, organization, and test coverage. - Understand Core-Banking Modules with good Business flow and have exposure to User Acceptance Testing. - Possess good Testing Skills with hands-on exposure to Test Automation creation/execution. - Document and maintain all Test Evidences with new techniques as per the Project schedule. - Contribute to requirements analysis, design, Automation code reviews, and Integration testing. - Engage with technical architects, business analysts, developers, and product team to promote system enhancements. - Track and report test, automation progress to Project Managers, Scrum master, system Architect, and developers. - Help to improve the team's performance in regards to Agile/Scrum practices. - Provide support for technical infrastructure components and participate in issue resolutions via QA practices. - Design and implement test architecture for test automation, monitor and improve functional performance of test automation. - Implement QA practices including test case preparation and execution, debug test scripts, identify and prepare test cases, create test data. - Utilize various tools and technologies like Cucumber, JIRA, JUnit, Maven, Selenium WebDriver, Agile-Scrum, Java, Unix, etc. Qualifications Required: - Experienced in working with Core Banking applications - Quick learner in Domain and Technology - Good hands-on experience in Automation Framework development for complex Banking applications with adaptability to upskill in latest Technology - Keen eye for detail, analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills - Good attitude and leadership skills - Exposure to working with diverse teams worldwide Additional Company Details (if present): The company, Deutsche Bank Group, strives for a culture where employees are empowered to excel together every day, act responsibly, think commercially, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
