QA Engineer (Automation)

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a strong background in test automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building and executing automated test suites to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to report, track, and verify software defects.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) by integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Maintain and improve existing test frameworks and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Write clear documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with BDD/TDD approaches using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• ISTQB or similar QA certification.
