Our goal is to enable sustainable mobility and prevent accidents caused by human error. As a QA Engineer at Aptiv, your role will involve enhancing testing in our CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases for our software products. Identifying and reporting defects, ensuring thorough documentation, and clear communication with software teams will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will conduct retesting and validation of resolved defects to confirm accuracy and prevent the introduction of new issues. Maintaining and improving automated testing procedures and collaborating with global teams on code reviews will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will work closely with the Security team to identify vulnerabilities and update test cases accordingly. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role and proficiency in test frameworks such as JUnit and gTest, test automation tools like Selenium and JMeter, and scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for working in a collaborative environment are essential. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, experience with Agile and other modern software development methodologies, familiarity with cutting-edge technologies like AI code/test generation tools, and knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, JIRA, and Confluence. Experience working with Linux operating systems, applications deployed in the public cloud, and the Automotive industry will be advantageous.
