QA Engineer-AI Labs

Purpose/Objective

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to optimize the software development lifecycle. This role focuses on manual and automated testing, performance benchmarking, and continuous quality improvements to enhance the end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities of Role

QA Engineer-AI Labs Test Planning & Execution: Improve product reliability by developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Ensure defect-free releases by identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects throughout the development cycle. Enhance test coverage by conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Test Automation & Continuous Improvement: Increase testing efficiency by implementing automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks. Enhance test reliability by integrating automated testing into CI CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent). Reduce manual testing efforts by developing and maintaining reusable test automation frameworks. Performance & Security Testing: Improve system scalability by conducting performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent. Enhance application security by performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing in collaboration with security teams. Ensure application compliance by validating adherence to security, regulatory, and industry standards. Bug Tracking & Defect Resolution: Ensure faster issue resolution by documenting and prioritizing defects in JIRA, TestRail, or similar tracking tools. Improve software stability by collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues. Optimize test cycles by conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurring defects. Collaboration & Agile Testing: Enhance cross-functional alignment by working closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams. Ensure seamless release cycles by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Drive continuous improvement by contributing to quality assurance best practices, guidelines, and test strategies. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Certification: (Preferred but Not Mandatory) ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Certification. Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or equivalent. Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, or other test automation tool certifications. Work Experience (Range of years): 1-10 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
