Job Title:

Job Overview

Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end
manual testing
of web and desktop applications.
Understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases and scenarios.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, log, and track bugs through defect management tools.
Contribute to
automation scripting
using
Java and Selenium
when required.
Work collaboratively with developers, QA team members, and product owners to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in sprint planning, test estimations, and status reporting in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

3 to 5 years of
relevant experience
in software testing.
Strong expertise in Manual Testing
.
Hands-on experience
with
Automation Testing
tools particularly
Java + Selenium
.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Zoho.
Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
Strong
communication skills
, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
