QA Automation Test Engineer

You will be responsible for performing analysis and design, design reviews, and development for test automation. You should have experience in developing a test automation framework and ensure compliance with established version control practices and coding standards. In cases where there is a need to expand the team's capacity for test automation development, you will be required to prepare and handoff analysis and design of test automation to offshore resources for development and act as a liaison to those resources for the team. Regularly evaluating the overall test automation suites and making decisions related to the application of test automation strategies for assigned projects will be part of your role. You will collaborate with the Test COE to recommend or request enhancements to the existing framework(s) where appropriate. Additionally, you should have a passion for moving shift left by assisting in gathering and analyzing business requirements for the development team's consumption. You should also have a pragmatic strategy for handling cross-browser, cross-platform, responsive layout, and mobile testing. In terms of technical qualifications, you are expected to have a good understanding of OOPS concepts and practical knowledge in applying them to the framework. Strong knowledge of test framework design is essential. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Java, Selenium, Rest assured, Appium, cucumber & TestNG is a must. Familiarity with Agile & DevOps methodologies is required along with excellent reporting, time management, analytical & communication skills. Knowledge of test management tools, API test automation, performance testing, and Browser stack, Jira is desirable.,
