As a QA Automation Engineer (Playwright), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python. - Creating end-to-end test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback loops. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and ensuring proper resolution with development teams. - Collaborating with QA, DevOps, and development teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality from design to deployment. - Optimizing and scaling existing automation suites for performance and maintainability. - Preparing detailed test reports, dashboards, and documentation. Your primary skills should include: - Proficiency in Playwright for web automation testing. - Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. - Experience in building and managing automation frameworks. - Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Playwright's own API testing capabilities. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM structure for test automation. - Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Xray. Please note that the job is located in Chennai and requires 5-10 years of experience in QA automation.
