QA Automation (Playwright)

As a QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for leading our test automation initiatives with expertise in Cypress. You will have a critical role in shaping the quality assurance strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring that our automation frameworks and processes meet the highest industry standards. This leadership position requires a combination of hands-on expertise and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver top-notch software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 3-5+ years of experience in software testing, focusing on automation. - Work on both Web and Mobile testing, with specific experience in the software tool Appium. - Showcase proven expertise in Playwright, encompassing framework design, maintenance, and optimization. - Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript for test script development. - Apply solid understanding of testing methodologies such as Agile, BDD, and TDD, along with best practices. - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Utilize strong knowledge of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or Cypress / Selenium plugins. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous experience in a leadership role within a QA or test automation team. - Familiarity with additional testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer. - Experience with performance and load testing tools. - ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent. - Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.,
