QA Automation (Playwright)

As a QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for leading our test automation initiatives with expertise in Cypress. Your role will involve driving the quality assurance strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring that our automation frameworks and processes align with the highest industry standards. This leadership position requires hands-on expertise and collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 3-5+ years of experience in software testing, focusing on automation. - Work on both Web and Mobile testing. - Use your experience with the software tool Appium. - Demonstrate proven expertise in Playwright including framework design, maintenance, and optimization. - Develop test scripts using JavaScript / TypeScript. - Apply solid understanding of testing methodologies such as Agile, BDD, and TDD. - Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI. - Apply strong knowledge of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or Cypress / Selenium plugins. - Utilize experience with version control tools like Git. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Prior experience in a leadership role within a QA or test automation team is preferred. - Familiarity with additional testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer is a plus. - Experience with performance and load testing tools. - ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent is desirable. - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a bonus. This job is full-time from the office in Indore, M.P., with a 5-day work week.
