Job Description

Job Title:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA automation test engineers.
  • Work with Test Lead and define QA strategy, test plans, and automation frameworks aligned with business and client needs.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using

    Java, Selenium, Playwright, Karate

    .
  • Drive

    API testing

    processes using

    Postman

    and

    Swagger

    .
  • Drive

    API Automation testing

    process using

    Playwright

    with

    Java

    and

    Karate

    .
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product managers to define requirements and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Ensure proper test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD integrations for automated testing pipelines.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to enhance team skills.
  • Track and report on QA metrics, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for QA with on-shore client teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 610 years of experience in

    QA automation testing

    , with at least 23 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in

    Java

    and automation frameworks like

    Playwright, Karate

    .
  • Proven experience in

    API testing

    (Postman, Swagger).
  • Familiarity with

    TypeScript

    is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience leading QA teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong people management, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
