QA Automation Engineer Python & Selenium:

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automated test frameworks

  and

  test cases

  using

  Python

  and

  Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Build robust

  web scraping scripts

  to extract data from various websites and online sources as required.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Perform regular

  regression

  ,

  functional

  , and

  performance testing

  for web applications.
• Develop reusable Python modules and utilities to support automation and data scraping tasks.
• Identify, log, and track bugs or issues, ensuring timely resolution and quality releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results.
• Research, recommend, and implement tools and best practices to enhance QA efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure scraping activities comply with applicable site terms and ethical guidelines.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for scripts, test cases, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience

  in QA automation or test engineering.
• Proficiency in

  Python scripting

  for automation tasks.
• Strong practical experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  (or similar tools).
• Solid understanding of

  HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation

  for accurate web interaction.
• Experience with

  web scraping

  techniques and handling dynamic content.
• Familiarity with

  XPath

  ,

  CSS selectors

  , and browser developer tools.
• Knowledge of

  version control

  systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with
