About the role: We are looking for a Prompt Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering to drive innovation in legal marketing tech solutions, particularly in lifecycle management and AI-powered legal workflows. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in structured prompt design, legal domain familiarity (preferred), and hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize AI prompts tailored to legal workflows, especially in doing analysis, drafting, and compliance. Work directly with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama) to enhance contract-related AI solutions. Write, test, and iterate prompt templates to ensure contextually accurate and legally sound outputs. Collaborate with legal professionals and internal teams to gather domain-specific requirements. Integrate LLMs into multi-step workflows and legal tech products, refining output for performance and reliability. Develop and maintain software that interacts with LLM APIs and backend data systems (SQL, REST APIs, etc.). Stay current with advancements in AI, LLMs, and legal market tech innovations. Evaluate and fine-tune AI-generated legal documents to meet compliance and client expectations. Requirements Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Law. Experience : Minimum 5 years of professional experience. At least 1 year in AI/prompt engineering. 34 years of software development experience in production environments (preferably startups). Technical Skills: Strong understanding of LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.). Proficiency in Python or C#/.NET (other languages acceptable with strong fundamentals). Experience with APIs, SQL, and AI model services (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere). Legal Domain Expertise (preferred): Experience in legal practice, or paralegal/legal tech background. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to write clear, effective prompts and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
