QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests for applications and websites. Your role will involve utilizing tools like Cypress or Playwright to ensure high product quality. You will design and implement tests, create and maintain automation frameworks, debug issues, and define corrective actions. Additionally, you will review system requirements and monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Key Responsibilities: - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback. - Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. - Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Cypress or Playwright. - Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly. - Collaborate with internal teams like developers and product managers to identify system requirements. - Monitor quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts. - Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies. Qualifications Required: - Applicative experience in writing automation scripts using JavaScript. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. - Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright. - Hands-on experience with App Automation using Appium. - Solid understanding of SQL and databases. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. - Knowledge of performance and/or security testing is a plus. - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Knowledge of AWS and GCP is an added advantage.,
