QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions to ensure testability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test strategies, tools, and processes.
• Support manual testing efforts as needed, especially during release cycles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in test automation or software QA.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Pytest).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
