QA Automation Engineer

**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As a QA Automation Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation frameworks, creating automated test cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software applications in an Agile environment. You will work independently, providing technical guidance to junior team members, and contribute to the overall software delivery process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop Automated Validation of products through manual and automated test cases using existing automation frameworks or developing new solutions - Scripting and developing reusable automation code - Create test data, write and own test cases, and perform peer code reviews - Identify, track, and manage risks/issues related to test deliveries and program safety - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in the software development lifecycle - Apply continuous integration best practices and report progress using Agile team management tools - Manage individual task priorities, ensure software quality assurance, and contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities **Qualifications Required:** - Total experience of 4-8 years in functional/automation testing with proficiency in Cypress OR Selenium & Rest Assured tool - Strong knowledge of automation frameworks like Karate, Postman, SOAP UI, and BDD Cucumber - Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Agile practices and software development - Experience with REST API, JSON, XML, and tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, SQL developer, Quality Centre/ALM, Confluence, and Jira - Background in engineering, development, testing, or business analysis - Experience in Agile approaches like Kanban and XP would be desirable **Additional Company Details:** Deutsche Bank promotes a culture of continuous learning, provides training and development opportunities, coaching from experts, and a range of flexible benefits tailored to individual needs.
