QA Automation Engineer

The ideal candidate should possess 2-3 years of experience in software testing, specifically focusing on test automation using Selenium WebDriver. You should have a strong understanding of test automation frameworks such as data-driven and keyword-driven frameworks, along with proficiency in tools like TestNG, Ant, and Maven. Experience with build tools like Jenkins and Bamboo is also required. You must have a solid knowledge of Java or Javascript for writing test scripts and experience in performance testing using tools like Jmeter. Hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end testing is necessary. Familiarity with bug tracking systems like JIRA is preferred, along with the ability to conduct defect analysis and identify root causes effectively. As a Test Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include setting up test automation standards, reviewing test code for quality assurance, and collaborating with engineering teams to support CI setup and tool requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing new feature impacts and risks, certifying product quality through test strategy and plans, and building test metrics to measure product test quality. You will need to develop test expertise within product teams, scale quality standards across the IT Market Group, and define product quality standards. Effective communication skills are essential for sharing test results, identifying issues and dependencies, and escalating them in a timely manner.
