QA Automation Architect

As a QA Automation Architect at Persistent Ltd. in Pune, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by leveraging your expertise in QA automation architecture, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Strong QA Architect experience with a focus on cloud and CI/CD knowledge. - Aligning QA goals with product and engineering objectives by defining and driving the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap. - Promoting a Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing mindset across teams. - Designing scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. - Evaluating and integrating tools for test management, CI/CD, performance, security, and observability. - Leading the transition from legacy frameworks to modern stacks like Java or TypeScript. The expertise you'll bring to this role includes: - Defining test strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing. - Establishing quality gates, test coverage metrics, and release criteria to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Collaborating with developers, product managers, DevOps, and business stakeholders while mentoring QA engineers in automation and quality mindset. - Introducing AI/ML-driven testing, self-healing scripts, and intelligent test selection for continuous improvement. - Acting as a quality evangelist across the organization and driving initiatives like TestOps, Test Data Management, and Test Observability.
