Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Orangesrum's software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.Qandle+1vintti.com+1
Manual & Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality across various platforms and environments.Qandle
Defect Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.vintti.com+2Qandle+2jobs.saastalent.co+2
Regression & Performance Testing: Conduct regression testing to verify that software updates do not introduce new issues; perform performance testing to assess scalability and responsiveness.Qandle+2Upwork+2vintti.com+2
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment on quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies; contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and strategies.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, Postman, and Git; strong understanding of SQL and scripting languages.Upwork+2jobs.saastalent.co+2GeeksforGeeks+2
Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.Upwork

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
