Job Title: Python/Django Backend Developer – Intern

About the Internship:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Python/Django Backend Developer Intern to join our team for a school management system project. This is a hands-on, internship ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in a real-world Django application.

You'll work closely with a small development team and contribute to key modules like user registration, role-based access, student/teacher/parent management, academic modules, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing Django models, APIs, and views
• Implement authentication and role-based access for different user types (student, teacher, parent, etc.)
• Work on database relationships, model serializers, and admin customizations
• Collaborate with frontend (Flutter) team for API integration
• Debug and test APIs using tools like Postman/Thunder Client
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Python and Django
• Familiar with Django REST Framework
• Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Strong willingness to learn and contribute
• Good communication and time management skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with user authentication (JWT/Session)
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, Flutter API integration)
• Prior work on multi-role systems or school management projects
