Python Lead Developer

The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of experience in Python, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. You should be proficient in using python data manipulation libraries such as Django, Fast API, and Angular. Experience working in a Linux development environment is also required. Your responsibilities will include writing algorithms in Python, utilizing standard data libraries like Django, and working with existing data storage solutions and data access APIs. It is important to standardize processes for code quality while maintaining the robustness of the code. As part of the team, you will be expected to contribute creative ideas, provide technical expertise, and support other team members, collaborators, and customers. Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies like AWS and Docker for development and test environments is essential. Writing unit and regression tests for all code as part of the development process is a key aspect of this role. Active participation in daily standups, Sprint meetings, and other Agile/Scrum processes is expected. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as version control systems like git and GitHub, is necessary. Previous exposure to cloud computing and hosting services, especially AWS, is preferred. Preferred qualifications include a background in data analytics, statistics, and time-series data. Experience with JIRA, a passion for working with low-level data, strong problem-solving skills, a self-starter mindset, and good documentation skills are highly valued for this position.,
