Job Description

Python Developer (Platform Integration using AWS or Azure & API Design)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop robust Python-based services for platform and workflow integrations.
Build and maintain scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Integrate and automate Jupyter Notebook workflows within the platform.
Lead end-to-end platform integration projects, from design to deployment.
Architect event-driven pipelines using Kafka or similar technologies.
Ingest, process, and validate data from diverse sources.
Build containerized microservices and deploy using Kubernetes (Docker, Helm, Kustomize).
Work with AWS/Azure services across serverless, storage, networking, and streaming.
Partner with DevOps for CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience designing scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and integration frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebook automation.
Expertise in event-driven systems and streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis).
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and multi-source ingestion.
Proficiency in containerization and Kubernetes deployment.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
Knowledge of CI/CD, security, OAuth2/JWT, and API governance.
Ability to lead complex technical initiatives.

Good-to-Have

Experience with SageMaker, Databricks, or notebook orchestration.
Terraform or CloudFormation knowledge.
Understanding of distributed systems and monitoring tools.
Experience mentoring and conducting architectural reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field.
8+ years in backend or platform engineering.
