Python Developer

As a Backend Developer, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using FastAPI. You will be tasked with implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures. Additionally, you will need to integrate APIs with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and external services while ensuring that the code you write is clean, maintainable, and testable following best practices. Collaboration with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams will also be a key aspect of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a strong proficiency in Python (3.7+) and hands-on experience with FastAPI (or Flask/Django with the intent to switch). A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming (async/await), and WebSockets is crucial. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis is required. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) will be beneficial. Furthermore, you should possess knowledge of unit testing & API testing frameworks like pytest, unittest, and Postman. Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows is essential for this role. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills will also be key to your success as a Backend Developer.
