About Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Automation Test Engineer with proven expertise in Robot Framework and mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms, ensuring high-quality software delivery in agile environments. Role: Python Automation Engineer (Robot Framework & Mobile Testing) Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience: 5 to 9 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (Android/iOS) using tools like Appium, Robot Framework, or similar. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Maintain test environments and ensure test data integrity. Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely. Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices. Expertise You'll Bring: Strong proficiency in Python programming language. Hands-on experience with Robot Framework automation tool. Strong experience in mobile testing using Appium, Robot Framework, or similar tools. Good understanding of mobile platforms, device configurations, and OS versions. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with version control systems like Git. Ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient test scripts. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
