Role: Python automation engineer

Location: Bangalore

Interview Mode: F2F

Notice Period: Immediate

Brief Overview:

Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
test automation frameworks
for microservices-based applications.
Perform
API testing
(functional, integration, and regression) using automation tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure
quality standards
and
test coverage
.
Conduct
performance and load testing
to validate system scalability and reliability.
Write and execute
automation scripts
for RESTful APIs and backend services.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
Ensure
continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
pipelines include automated tests.
Maintain documentation for test cases, automation scripts, and test results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

57 years
of experience in
test automation
and
API testing
.
Strong knowledge of
Microservices architecture
and
RESTful APIs
.
Proficiency in
Python
(preferred),
JavaScript
, or
Java
for automation scripting.
Experience with
API automation tools
(e.g., Postman, RestAssured, PyTest, or similar).
Familiarity with
Database concepts
(SQL/NoSQL) for validation and testing.
Hands-on experience in
Load & Performance Testing
(e.g., JMeter, Locust).
Understanding of
CI/CD pipelines
and integration of automated tests.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
