PYP HRI

As a PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, inquiry-based, and concept-driven learning environment that fosters the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of students. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Plan and facilitate engaging transdisciplinary units of inquiry aligned with the IB PYP framework and school curriculum goals. - Incorporate student voice, choice, and ownership in daily learning experiences to promote agency and self-directed learning. - Design differentiated learning experiences to cater to diverse learning styles, interests, and abilities in the classroom. - Integrate technology, art, music, and real-world connections into lessons to enhance understanding and creativity. - Observe, assess, and document student learning through formative and summative assessments using IB-aligned tools and criteria. - Collaborate regularly with grade-level and specialist teachers to ensure curriculum alignment. - Maintain clear, positive, and professional communication with parents through meetings, reports, and regular updates. - Support the inclusion of students with special learning needs in partnership with the SEN department. - Actively engage in professional development opportunities and IB training to enhance teaching practices. - Participate in school events, assemblies, and community-building initiatives that enrich student experiences. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in an IB PYP or inquiry-based learning environment. - Demonstrated expertise in designing and facilitating transdisciplinary learning experiences. - Proficiency in student-centered teaching, formative assessment strategies, and reflective practices. - Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills. - Passion for education, growth mindset, empathy, and commitment to holistic student development.,
