Purchase Specialist ( Kolkata Only)

We are hiring for the position of Purchase Officer at Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology (GMIT), Baruipur Campus. GMIT is an education partner of Inceptial Technologies under the JIS Group.

Role: Purchase Officer

Location: GMIT, Baruipur Campus

Experience: 4 to 5 years

Joining: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end purchase operations from requisition to order placement

• Handle vendor selection, negotiation, onboarding, and performance evaluations

• Coordinate with Accounts and Admin teams for approvals and bill processing

• Maintain purchase records, GRNs, and documentation in ERP

• Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and timelines

• Collaborate with internal departments for timely availability of required materials

Candidate Requirements:

• Background in Accounts

• Hands-on experience in purchase and vendor management

• Working knowledge of ERP systems

• Strong communication, negotiation
