Job Description

Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement strategies for acquiring goods and services that align with the company's overall objectives and maximize cost savings.
Supplier Management:
Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their performance, negotiate contracts, and establish strong, reliable relationships to ensure a consistent supply of quality products.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and devise strategies to manage stock efficiently, avoiding shortages or excess, and disposing of outdated items profitably.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the purchasing department, setting goals, providing training, and ensuring the team works efficiently and effectively to meet departmental objectives.
Cost Control & Analysis:
Analyze spending patterns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Risk Mitigation:
Identify and assess supply chain risks, such as potential disruptions or supplier reliability issues, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Coordinate with other departments to understand their supply needs and ensure procurement activities support the entire organization's operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
Analytical and strategic thinking to evaluate procurement processes and identify areas for improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain vendor relationships and lead a team.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and data analysis tools.
Knowledge of market trends and supply chain dynamics.
