Role & re Financial Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations for management. Ensure that financial statements comply with local accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and track budget performance, highlighting variances and suggesting corrective actions when needed. Collaborate with department heads to ensure cost control and proper financial planning. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Manage vendor and customer relationships regarding billing, payments, and credit terms. Ensure aging reports are monitored and follow-up actions are taken to collect outstanding receivables. Inventory & Cost Accounting: Work with the production and inventory teams to ensure accurate costing of materials and finished goods. Maintain and update cost accounting records, ensuring proper allocation of direct and indirect costs. Review inventory levels and assess cost impact on the financial statements. Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Conduct periodic audits to identify any discrepancies and address them promptly. Ensure that all tax filings (such as GST, and income tax) are accurate and submitted on time. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, financial trends, and areas of concern. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and operational efficiency in manufacturing processes. Team Management & Training: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring they are properly trained in accounting procedures and software. Provide guidance on handling complex accounting tasks and resolving any issues related to accounts or financial reporting. ERP and Accounting Software Management: Utilize SAP and accounting software to manage financial data, generate reports, and analyze performance. Ensure all accounting systems are up-to-date, accurate, and efficiently used across departments. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments.
