Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Leadership:
Develop and execute the indirect procurement strategy.
Lead a team of category managers and procurement professionals.
Drive digital transformation in procurement processes .
Category Management:
Oversee sourcing for indirect categories including IT, marketing, facilities, logistics, and professional services.
Implement category strategies to deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation.
Supplier & Contract Management:
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
Negotiate high-value contracts ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand procurement needs.
Ensure procurement policies and practices support business operations and compliance.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations .
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and internal reviews.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors / Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
10–15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in indirect procurement.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba or equivalent).
Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP are a plus.
