As a Purchase In-charge at Area27 Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for the organization's operations. Your responsibilities will include identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, tracking inventory levels, coordinating with warehouse and production teams, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement in alignment with company standards and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Identify reliable suppliers and foster strong vendor relationships. - Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. - Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. - Track and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. - Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to facilitate smooth material flow. - Monitor and assess supplier performance based on quality, delivery time, and service. - Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. - Stay abreast of market trends and new products to enhance purchasing decisions. - Resolve any discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or invoices. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles. Strong negotiation and communication skills, an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines are essential qualifications for this position.
