Purchase Head

As the Purchase Head at Machfox Hydraulics and Lubrication System Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in leading the procurement function. With over 15 years of relevant experience, you will have a strong background in SAP systems, vendor development, strategic sourcing, and team leadership. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals. You will oversee procurement activities across hydraulics, lubrication systems, and related components, negotiating contracts with key suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Managing vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and compliance with standards will be a key focus, along with monitoring purchase budgets, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier performance. Utilizing SAP for procurement processes, including purchase orders, GRNs, and reporting, will be essential. Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of procurement professionals, identifying and onboarding new suppliers, and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and standards are also part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in purchasing/procurement. Strong expertise in SAP (MM Module) and procurement systems, proven experience in vendor management, negotiation, and supply chain optimization, as well as leadership experience with a successful track record of managing procurement teams, are required. Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills will be beneficial in this role. This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement and Provident Fund.
